Ann is a leading advisor to the UK aviation and rail industries on meeting the needs of passengers with disabilities. She speaks from a position of many years’ experience – both personal and professional.
She has held senior advisory positions with the UK Government’s Disabled Person’s Transport Advisory Committee and was involved in negotiating the UK position on EU agreements on standards for PRMs for both aviation and rail.
Ann now runs her own consultancy offering Disability Awareness Training to those involved in transport planning and delivery. She currently advises Easyjet, OCS and Network Rail on their policies and practices.
She specializes in promoting understanding of the social model of disability issues, dispelling the myths surrounding the subject and demonstrating the best way to mainstream this into management structures and practices.
